A Little Rain

We had just a little rain today. Ed hasn't put our rain gauge back up yet, so I have no way of measuring. It wasn't much, but anything is better than nothing, which is mostly what we've had lately.
Kind of a "blah" day. Sleepy and in need of a nap, as usual. Came home to a mountain of laundry. I swear we are either the nastiest or cleanest people around. I don't know just the two of us generate so many dirty clothes. It was even worse when the kids were at home. But once they became teens, they had to do their own laundry. I was tired of digging under beds and in gym bags and in the bottom of closets for dirty clothes. My mother-in-law disapproved (like I cared), but they learned to do laundry, and if their favorite outfits were dirty, they had no one to blame but themselves.
Anyway, the laundry is going and so is dinner. Put a roast in the crock pot early this morning. Smells yummy in here. Threw a few carrots and taters in when I got home. Will make some cornbread, steam some broccoli, and that's supper. Afterward Ed plans on working on the rails. Me? I plan on parking my bohunkus in my recliner and watching 3 hours of The Bachelorette. That's my current vice. But it ends tonight. I really want her to choose Jason, but I'm afraid she'll go for Jesse.
Had my Jaybug on my mind all day long. Today was his first day at daycamp for autistic children. I hope he had the best day ever. I do love that boy!
